Our History
From Upstate New York to Central Florida
Founded in 1963, Russell P. LeFrois started the company by building quality and affordable custom homes in Webster, NY. Soon, Russell expanded the business to include commercial construction, a direction on which we now place our sole emphasis.
In 1972, Russell passed leadership of the company to son, Richard LeFrois. Rich now handles the challenging demands and close-working relationships needed in the commercial contracting industry on a daily basis. He has advanced the company’s focus to include all aspects of commercial, industrial, and general contracting development.
In 2004, LeFrois purchased 300 acres of land along the I-4 corridor in Central Florida, and formed Central Florida Development (CFD). CFD has grown to be one of the leading commercial developers in the region by developing office and industrial buildings, as well as hotel and restaurant sites.
